2008 CWOA Annual Meeting:
Installation Dinner
Text Box: Deb and Chuck Schneider enjoyed chatting with old friends and playing “20 Questions” in the Hospitality Suite following the dinner. Deb’s memory is pretty good! She was 5 for 5 on one attendee as to where she had met them! To be fair, Chuck kept score.

Deb, good to see you there!
Text Box: Matte Matteson, Distinguished Member, reads the Preamble to the CW&WOA Constitution and Bylaws. Matte was also representing the Norfolk Chapter.
Text Box: Bob and Shirley Dudley, Rocky Coast Club
Yup! It fits!! First time in a very long time!
Text Box: Wayne Zuehls (right), President of the Pacific Northwest Chapter, sailed with Captain Rendon many years ago.

Always nice to see old shipmates get back together for special events.
Text Box: At the close of regular business, most of the Chapter representatives, CWOA officers and other guests made their way to the Hospitality Suite for a bite of pizza, a drink and a bit of libation.
Seated above, left, in blue shirt, is Dr. Dennis L. Noble, a Coast Guard historian. Dr. Noble, a retired Coast Guard Senior Chief (MSTCS), was the keynote speaker for the Installation Dinner.
Text Box: Mattie Matteson obviously having a great time! Mattie talked about his time in Boston and his “dealings” with the late Ken Black from the Lighthouse Museum in Rockland, Maine.

Mattie really doesn’t talk about history. He is living history and can entertain anyone willing to listen.
Text Box: Jerry Lewis (Rocky Coast Club), Earl Ryder (Little Club on the Prairie) and Dave Daniels discuss the events before the start of the Installation Dinner.
